We did a waterless wash using Optimum No Rinse brought the car in and inspected it with our lighting. At this time we could see more of the defects that were in the paint that were causing the finish to look dull and hazy.
Here we can see someone scratched the paint with some kind of scuff pad.
After one pass with a mild aggressive polish the defects were removed. So we moved on to other areas of the paint. Below is the trunk area where the left side has been polished to remove the defects. Our next polishing step will be a finishing polish then we will do an alcohol wipe down.
Once we finished polishing out everything we were ready for the Modesta Primer Polish.
After the primer polish we let the car sit for 3 hours before westarted coating this car w the Modesta BC03 Coating.
Once our coating process was complete we used our infrared cure lamp to help assist with the curing process. In the picture below you can see the cure lamp in action.
each panel needs to cure for 15-20 minutes. So while these panels were curing we turned our attention to finish cleaning the rims & polishing the exhaust tips.
Nothing a little steel wool and metal polish wont fix.
Ok after hours of correcting the paint, finish polishing, primer polishing, applying the coating & curing the coating. The vehicle is now complete. Here are the finished pics.
