After Seeing this Audi R8 at a local Speed Shop, I wondered how good it would look if it received the car detail it deserved! Well a week later the manager called for one of my services & this is what it looked like when i arrived :(.
As you can see is layered in dirt, the wheels are covered in brake dust & someone has been rubbing the paint on the passenger side fender inducing marring onto the finish. We started with a wash & i pulled it into the bay and this is how the finish looked after washing.
As you can see this is NOT how an Audi R8 should look. So i proceeded to clay & remove the embedded contaminants and started polishing. As you can see in the picture below i polished out half of the hood to see how my progress was coming along.
So little by little the swirls are being polished away not filled. So i went a head and finished the rest of the car which took roughly around 6-8 hours.
After the finish polishing i decided to turn my attention to the engine bay & this is how it looked after i washed it. I decided not to pressure wash this engine bay due to liability reasons so i detailed it by hand. Here is an engine shot before.
After polishing out all the water spots with a cleaner polish by hand i wiped it down and applied Cquartz Finest to all the carbon pieces. The hoses & plastic got Adams In & Out spray.
This picture does not do this engine bay justice. After coating the entire vehicle including Paint, Glass, Rims, & Engine bay this Audi came out looking better than Stellar. And here are the after photos.
And that dirty engine bay looks 10x better now.
